OPCMIA Launches Patrick D. Finley Scholarship Fund Web Page

The OPCMIA established the Patrick D. Finley Scholarship Fund in 2009. Named in honor of our late General President who launched the program, the Fund provides eight members and their dependents the opportunity to earn $5,000 towards full-time, undergraduate college or university tuition.

Alise Martiny Appointed OPCMIA International Vice President

Alise Martiny, past President of OPCMIA Local 518 and Business Manager/Financial Secretary of the Greater Kansas City Building & Construction Trades Council, has been appointed an OPCMIA International Vice President and member of the General Executive Board by OPCMIA General President Kevin D. Sexton. Her appointment was unanimously approved by the General Executive Board.

Bailey Appointed OPCMIA General Secretary-Treasurer

The OPCMIA General Executive Board has unanimously appointed Vice President Richard A. Bailey to serve as General Secretary-Treasurer, effective February 1, 2023. He succeeds Kevin D. Sexton, who will become OPCMIA General President on the same date.

OPCMIA General President Stepano Announces Retirement

Daniel E. Stepano, General President of OPCMIA since April 16, 2016, announced his intention to retire in January 2023. The OPCMIA General Executive Board unanimously elected General Secretary-Treasurer Kevin D. Sexton as his replacement.
