On behalf of the OPCMIA’s nearly 50,000 proud members, I congratulate the bipartisan majority in the U.S. House who voted to enact the historic Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act.
Thanks to their courage and President Biden’s leadership, our nation will at long last be making the investments needed to rebuild America, strengthen our economy, and create millions of good, middle class jobs. Our members stand at the ready to repair and reconstruct our roads, bridges, airports, dams, school buildings and other key elements of our infrastructure as the most skilled, best-trained cement masons and plasterers in the world.
President Biden kept his promise and delivered. And the 13 Republicans who put country over raw partisanship despite vicious threats have earned our praise as well. We are grateful to all for making the largest investment in infrastructure in U.S. history and improving the lives and livelihoods of the American people now and for many years to come.
