The Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association (OPCMIA) announces our enthusiastic endorsement of the Honorable Tim Ryan U.S. House of Representatives (OH-13th) for the U.S. Senate representing Ohio. Tim’s entire career in public office has been focused on fighting for working people and he has been a steadfast, fierce ally of the labor movement. As he often says, he wants to cut workers in on the deal, and we could not agree more.
Through his 10 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, his leadership and voting record to improve the lives of working families and fortify the middle class has been impeccable. He has voted for and led the charge for numerous bills that will have a direct, positive impact on Ohio workers, including the CHIPS Act, the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Bill, which is already bringing billions of dollars in funding to Ohio for roads, bridges, highways, hospitals, broadband, microchip plants, and renewable energy projects. This will generate countless work hours that will keep OPCMIA members working for easily another 20 years.
Tim Ryan is by far the right choice to represent Ohio in the United States Senate, which urgently needs another member who will fight tenaciously for the working men and women of the United States. Tim Ryan will be that Senator and we intend to do everything in our power to help elect him.
