    OSHA requires that all authorized OSHA 10 and 30 trainers renew their authorization every 4 years. If you let your authorization expire, you may be required to retake both the OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 courses.

    This is the second requirement needed to become an OSHA 10 and 30 trainer. In order to attend the OSHA 500, you must first complete the OSHA 510 and a prerequisite form which must be approved by CPWR.

  • 2019 Instructor Training Program

    The inaugural OPCMIA Instructor Training Program (ITP) was a huge success! We are pleased to announce that this year, we will be holding both a 102 course for returning participants as well as a 101 course for first-time participants. Nearly 100 instructors from around the country attended in 2018 and we are looking to increase those numbers in 2019.

    Our Train-the-Trainer Safety Week is turning into the annual Safety and Training Week. Last year’s event was a huge success and we hope to have even more participants this time around. On this year’s schedule includes first-aid/CPR, boom lift, forklift, and suspended scaffold hazard awareness.
