The U. S. Department of Labor set forth in 2017 a requirement that anyone working with apprentices must have anti-harassment training.

For instructors interested in becoming an OSHA 10 and 30 trainer, completing the OSHA 510 is the first step!

The goal of the ITF is to provide necessary training in the proper procedures for performing spray fireproofing in the construction industry. Participants of this training will examine the practical use of fireproofing tools and processes while working safely and efficiently.

Taking place every spring, AWCI's Annual Convention & INTEX Expo brings people together from across the industry for a variety of in-depth education sessions and stellar networking receptions.

OSHA requires that all authorized OSHA 10 and 30 trainers renew their authorization every 4 years. If you let your authorization expire, you may be required to retake both the OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 courses.

This is the second requirement needed to become an OSHA 10 and 30 trainer. In order to attend the OSHA 500, you must first complete the OSHA 510 and a prerequisite form which must be approved by CPWR.

The inaugural OPCMIA Instructor Training Program (ITP) was a huge success! We are pleased to announce that this year, we will be holding both a 102 course for returning participants as well as a 101 course for first-time participants. Nearly 100 instructors from around the country attended in 2018 and we are looking to increase those numbers in 2019.

Our Train-the-Trainer Safety Week is turning into the annual Safety and Training Week. Last year’s event was a huge success and we hope to have even more participants this time around. On this year’s schedule includes first-aid/CPR, boom lift, forklift, and suspended scaffold hazard awareness.
