My name is AJ Frescura. I am from Will County, Illinois. My dad, Tony Frescura, Jr., has been a proud member of OPCMIA Local 11 for 35 years. I am a summa cum laude graduate of Minooka Community High School Class of 2025. During my time at MCHS, I played football and wrestled. I was a Scholar Athlete all four years. As a junior, I received the “Most Improved Wrestler” Award, and as a senior, I received the “Wrestling Leadership” Award. I was also a student advocate on the Superintendent’s Advisory Board that worked to break ground on a new fieldhouse for the high school this year. I will be continuing my education and wrestling career at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. While there, I will major in Biology. The OPCMIA has had a major impact on my life. Local 11 has supported our family in many ways over the years. I appreciate the “Patrick D. Finley Scholarship Fund” grant very much. I am excited about college and new experiences! Thank you again.
