OPCMIA Scholarship Winner Brent E. Quigley pictured with his father, Charles R. Quigley, Jr. of Local 592. Brent will be attending West Chester University.
Hello, my name is Brent Quigley, and I am from West Chester, Pennsylvania. I am a recent high school graduate who held high honors and joined the National Honors Society. These accomplishments would not have been possible without the help and support of my family. During high school, I played soccer, tennis, and worked as a referee. I am passionate about giving back to my community and have volunteered at my local food cupboard and library for four years now. I will be attending West Chester University this fall and am planning to study biochemistry. Eventually, I want to get a job in the pharmaceutical industry. For the past few years, my father, Charles Quigley Jr., has been a member of Local 592 in Philadelphia. For over 40 years before that, my grandfather, Charles Quigley Sr. was a proud member. I want to thank the OPCMIA for granting me the Patrick D. Finley Scholarship as this union has always been a big part of my life and I am very grateful to receive this help.
