Hello! My name is Zoe, and I am a student at the University of Washington, where I am studying Early Childhood and Family Studies. My dream is to become a 2nd-grade elementary school teacher, and one day, I hope to add “children’s book author and illustrator” to my title as well. I’ve lived in Washington my whole life, and I’ve seen firsthand how the work of unions, like the one my parents have been a part of for many years, shapes strong, supportive communities. Those values of fairness, collaboration, and care are what drive me to pursue a career in education, where I can help create safe, inspiring spaces for young learners to grow and thrive.
