My name is Ellia Domaracki, and I am deeply honored and grateful to be a recipient of the OPCMIA Patrick D. Finley Scholarship. This generous support is more than financial assistance it is an investment in my future, and I thank you sincerely for it. I will graduate this June from Kittatinny Regional High Scholl in Newton, New Jersey, with a 4.2 GPA and several academic and merit-based accolades. During high school, I participated in meaningful extracurriculars, including four years in the Kittatinny Players theater program, where I played two lead roles, and the youth empowerment initiative Incorruptible, US, where I developed leadership and communication skills that have shaped who I am today. This fall, I will attend Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Game Art. As a young woman entering a male-dominated field, I am motivated to bring new creative energy and vision to the gaming industry. I am passionate about digital storytelling and hope to help create meaningful, immersive experiences for others. My father, Frank Domaracki, has been a member of Local Union 29 Jersey City, NJ for over 18 years. I have seen firsthand the strength and support a union provides to working families like mine. Thanks to this scholarship, I can approach college with greater confidence and reduced financial burden, allowing me to focus fully on my education and goals. Thank you again for this incredible opportunity. I look forward to making the most of it and representing the values of the OPCMIA with pride.
