The Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association (OPCMIA) endorses Catherine Cortez Masto for re-election to the U.S. Senate for the state of Nevada. Since her first days in office, Sen. Cortez Masto has always strongly supported organized labor and she continues to uphold the values of unionized workers. She is a true fighter for Nevada and the nation’s working men and women, and she has more than earned our respect and our endorsement.
Notably, Sen. Cortez Masto has voted for the INVEST in America Act, the largest infrastructure bill in history. Thanks to her courage and leadership, our nation’s economy will be built back better and millions of good union jobs will be created. She has also re-introduced vital legislation such as the Working On Rewarding and Keeping Employees Resilient (WORKERS) Act, which will promote education and training for workers in high-demand industries with an emphasis on registered apprenticeships. She has always had our backs and we will have hers in the 2022 elections.
Catherine Cortez Masto is the best choice for Nevada’s U.S. Senator. With friends like Sen. Cortez Masto in the Senate championing working families, the middle class will start growing again and unions like OPCMIA will be able to empower more workers with the opportunity to improve their lives.
