The OPCMIA’s world-class Apprenticeship Program is under attack! The White House is trying to ram through a scheme by a small group of anti-union contractors to allow the use of substandard Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs (IRAPS) in construction. If finalized, this proposed rule could weaken standards, increase the risk of unsafe worksites and substandard construction, and send our trades on a race to the bottom.
