General President Daniel Stepano

Never in my lifetime has a New Year been more highly anticipated and more long-awaited. On behalf of the OPCMIA General Executive Board, I wish every member and your families a joyful goodbye to 2020 and a 2021 that brings everyone welcome relief, good health, opportunity and prosperity.

We may have months of difficult days ahead, but at long last, it is now clear we will eventually reach the end of this pandemic and the misery it has brought to all.

I want to thank every OPCMIA member for staying strong and united over the past nine-plus months, for supporting one another, and for doing what you can to make life easier for others and to observe workplace health and safety protocols. It has not been easy, but we are getting through this — together.

Here’s to a 2021 with a new Administration that strengthens workers’ rights, enforces workplace health and safety, tames the COVID pandemic, gets vaccines distributes swiftly and fairly, and restores sanity, decency, competence and justice to government. And here’s to a 2021 in which OPCMIA members have an abundance of work, good health, and the joys of family.

All the best,

Daniel E. Stepano
General President
